Are you an enthusiastic IT engineer with at 1-2 years’ experience in a managed service provider, looking for a step in your career?

Are you keen to join a dynamic and friendly helpdesk in Basildon? Our growing MSP client is looking for an experienced engineer to join their team.

About the role
·To provide 1st, 2nd line technical support queries professionally and efficiently, maintaining a high degree of customer service.
·To ensure that all customer SLA’s are met.
·To take ownership of user problems, perform a technical diagnosis and fix the issue using remote tools.
·To document all calls on the call logging system.
·To arrange for external support visit whenever problems cannot be resolved in house.

About you
Attributes required:
·Strong knowledge of Microsoft based operating systems with emphasis on Windows Windows 7, 8, 10 and Microsoft Server 2003 / 2008 / 2012.
·Basic Networking, IP Addressing, DNS, DHCP.
·Networking Experience (LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi)
·Knowledge of Active Directory (AD).
·Knowledge of McAfee and Sophos Anti-Virus.
·Experience troubleshooting Microsoft Office 2007 – 2016
·Remote Access tools such as RDP and TeamViewer.
·Good understanding of PC hardware and software set-up and configuration and TCP/IP networking skills. (A+ CompTIA)
·Excellent telephone manner.
·Microsoft certification would be desirable.
·Cisco CCNA or above would be desirable.
·Previous experience in a similar IT support role would be desirable.
