We are looking for an ambitious and experienced Senior IT Support Engineer for a leading global IP consultancy. You will be responsible for providing technical support and assistance for users as well as making sure the systems are running smoothly.

ABOU THE ROLE
The position provides day-to-day desktop and server support for end users within the EMEA region. The goal of the position is to ensure all the desktopserver and varied technology stack run normally. You will be responsible for maintaining an efficient, secure network environment and responsible for maintaining the quality of the end user experience. Based in the London office you will provide support for local users as well as remote support for the Moscow satellite office and support cover for Dubai and Africa users. Deliver regular feedback on IT projects, convey any local issues to international IT teams within the business on all aspects of IT support from 1st line through to 3rd line.

Details of Responsibility

·Maintain and support desktopmobile device environment; Win 7Win 10
·End User support, logging calls via ticketing system
·Maintain and support server environment located in the global datacentre (UK); Windows 2008-2016
·Office365, Exchange Online, Azure AD, SFB,
·Active DirectoryAzure AD; manage users, security groups and GPOs
·Microsoft Exchange; Manage mailboxes, migrations, message transport
·Maintain backup and recovery platform
·Desktop builds Imaging
·IT orientation/inductions for new staff
·IT equipment audit and training documentation
·Responsible for office moves and internal work station moves for staff

ABOUT YOU
As an IT Support Engineer, you will have a proven track record with experience in support within an office environment. You should be able to display good problem solving, strong service orientation, analytical, Interpersonal skills and able to work well under pressure. A willingness to learn and progress, training and certification encouraged and supported

Skill Requirements:
·IT background with proven experience of System support especially with Windows client operating systems, Windows 7 and Windows 10
·MS Exchange Administration (Mimecast Beneficial)
·PowerShell scripting and automation
·Systems Knowledge: Windows Server 2008-2016
·VMware, Hyper-V, Azure (desirable)
·In Depth Knowledge of Active Directory (GPO, Policy)
·Understanding of ITIL and other service management methodologies
·Telephony (VOIP & SIP) (Cisco Call manager Beneficial)
·Networking knowledge including IPv4, Switches, Wireless, LAN, WAN, VPN, TCP/IP, DNS, VoIP, iSCSI,
·Must possess good experience with: Ms Office 2007-2016
·Good people skills, able to work without close supervision and deliver to tight deadline
·Good communication and organisational skills
·Professional Certification (desirable) MCP, MCSE or MCITP, VCP, CCNA (equivalent experience)
