We are looking for an ambitious 1st Line Support Analyst for a well-established performing arts school.
You will be responsible for providing technical support and assistance with workstation hardware and software for the school and remote users. You will be part of a diverse organization with significant opportunity for continuous learning and progression.
With various technologies to work with, this is a role which will never get boring.
Provide IT resources as required including:
*To provide telephone, e-mail, and hands on support to in-house and remote staff for Windows OS, application, network, hardware and mobile phone issues.
*Resolve issues via remote access or hands on in person.
*Escalate calls where necessary to other IT dept staff or product support.
*Creation and maintenance of user accounts
*Maintaining equipment asset database, software/hardware.
*Setting up of laptops, projectors for meetings in conference rooms.
*Dealing with desktop printing issues
*Web filter administration for managing blocked sites
*Investigating missing e-mail using spam filter and mail server tools.
*Managing web browser updates on desktop PCs.
*PC builds using imaging tools, software installation.
*Maintain IT support ticket system with current information on cases.
You will have strong knowledge of and possess the following key competencies:
*Strong knowledge of Windows 7 and Windows Server platforms
*Strong MAC OS knowledge
*Microsoft Office – 2010 / 2016
*Experience working in a 1st line technical support environment
As a 1st Line Support Analyst, you will deliver excellent IT services and support to the school. Maximising the potential of IT in the delivery of Curriculum. Being part of an IT Team, providing technical support, to a level of quality that matches the excellent work produced by the students and staff of the school.
You will work alongside a team member in the support of Infrastructure and Application services within the school. Maintaining a high standard of work always.
