We are looking for an ambitious 1st Line Support Analyst for a well-established publishing and events company. You will be responsible for providing technical support and assistance with workstation hardware and software for head office and remote users. RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide IT resources as required including:

*To provide telephone, e-mail, and hands on support to in-house and remote staff for Windows OS, application, network, hardware and mobile phone issues.
*Resolve issues via remote access or hands on in person.
*Escalate calls where necessary to other IT dept staff or product support.
*Creation and maintenance of user accounts
*Maintaining equipment asset database, software/hardware.
*Setting up of laptops, projectors for meetings in conference rooms.
*Dealing with desktop printing issues
*Web filter administration for managing blocked sites
*Investigating missing e-mail using spam filter and mail server tools.
*Managing web browser updates on desktop PCs.
*PC builds using imaging tools, software installation.
*Maintain IT support ticket system with current information on cases.

You will have strong knowledge of and possess the following key competencies:

*Strong knowledge of Windows 7 and Windows Server platforms
*Microsoft Office – 2010 / 2016
*Experience working in a 1st and 2nd line technical support environment

As a 1st Line Support Analyst, the successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support and assistance with workstation hardware and software for head office and remote users.
The role is strongly focused on continuously enhancing the quality of the services provided to the business through software and business process improvements and by developing excellent relationships with other business units.
