A Managed Service Provider based in central London with clients in and around the London area, are looking to recruit a 2nd IT Support Engineer to join their team of friendly engineers based in their offices in Bankside.

We are looking for an ambitious and experienced IT support engineer to join their fast-paced helpdesk environment. You will have the opportunity to mix with a wide range of client infrastructures and technologies.

Keeping their customers happy is their goal and it is essential that you have a great telephone manner and are comfortable speaking to people at all levels of business. You will need to be able to prioritise issues and work to deadlines, often dealing with more than one customer at a time whilst always exceeding their expectations.

Job Specification:
·To support our clients, diagnosing and resolving their IT issues with Microsoft Windows 7, 8 and 10, Microsoft Office 2010, 2013, 2016 or other Support over phone, remote and onsite.
·Maintain client systems and install new equipment.
·System Administration of Windows Server 2008, 2012, 2016 server including: Active directory, DHCP, DNS, NTFS permissions, DFS
·Administration of security products such Firewalls, AV & Anti-Spam Solutions
·Ensure IT documentation is kept up to date.
·Office 365 / Exchange Server, user and group administration, install apps etc.
·Respond to escalated tickets and identify and implement solutions
·Liaise with 3rd party vendors
·Identify and suggest possible improvements on procedures & products
·Create and update technical documentation and manuals
·Manage and maintain internal and client backup processes
·Plan and oversee projects

Skills Required:
·Good working knowledge of Windows Server 2012 & 2016 including experience of installation / configuration & Hyper-V services.
·Good working knowledge of Networking, VLANS & Routing
·Working knowledge of firewalls and Internet connections, diagnostics etc.
·Good working knowledge of Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 10
·Good working knowledge of Office 356 and Exchange administration.
·Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office 2010/13/16 and associated Microsoft packages.
·Ability to provide a high level of customer service.
·Able to produce documentation (technical and non-technical).
·Excellent communication skills with very good verbal and written English.
·2 years IT support experience, preferably in a similar role.

As a Service Desk Analyst at this level, you will be responsible for maintaining the quality of the end user experience, acting as an effective point of contact from the business to the business customer. Ensuring customer service standards represent value to the business.
