Our client is looking for a proactive IT engineer to join their company; a cross-disciplined practice based in London specialising in the fusion of architecture, lighting design, and art. So if you also have an interest in art this may be the perfect role for you.

The studio comprises a team of 25 with specialisms spanning multiple industries. Their team come from across the globe with specialities in architecture, lighting design, artwork design and fabrication, software development, project management, sound design, composition and audio branding.
ABOUT THE ROLE
This role will place you within a highly creative environment working on premium brands and high-end bespoke software/electronic projects, working as part of a team towards creating fine art projects, interactive installations, and products, and assisting with the smooth running of the studio’s IT systems.This is a unique IT role which would involve ensuring the testing, advising and quality assurance of bespoke interactive projects is up to scratch.
The role will also involve face-to-face troubleshooting with high-net-value individuals and will involve international travel. This would be perfect for someone looking for a challenging application for their skills and wants to be part of a close-knit, creative, multi-skilled team.
You will need to be a proactive individual, able to hit the ground running with fantastic communication skills.
Essential Experience and Qualities:
·Solid knowledge of Windows 10, MacOS and Android; Linux and iOS is a plus.
·Building and setting up pre-existing and custom built computers.
·Researching and sourcing new technologies and hardware for projects.
·Identifying areas of improvement in studio procedure in relation to IT management, project and studio based.
·Taking responsibility for the smooth running of the company server, NAS, router, managed switch, Wi-Fi AP and backups.
·Taking care of and configuring artworks; computer, software and interactive systems i.e. kinect, touchscreen interfaces.
·Ability to work independently and in a small team.
·Able to carry out quality assurance on pre-existing and custom built hardware.
·Responsible for automated and manual troubleshooting, creating test environments and producing clear test documentation.
·Clear and friendly communication skills, ability to communicate with a wide-range of people, particularly high-net-worth individuals.
·Keep a good relation with partners i.e. Dell, Intel, Nvidia.
·Must hold a valid passport. Full, clean driving license a bonus.
