We are looking for an experienced 3rd Line Infrastructure Engineer with 360 skills in a multiple client set-up for an exciting Internet Service Provider. You will be part of a diverse organization with huge opportunities and significant opportunity for continuous learning and progression.

DUTIES (among others):
*Head up a small yet dynamic service desk.
*Provide 3rd Line customer facing support structure.
*Design and implement project work in the London area, including site visits.
*Work closely with project management and client services to ensure service level promises are met
*Ensure all infrastructure changes are completed in accordance with upcoming project requirements.
*Perform SLA checks and updates ensuring expectations are managed and met.
*Provide consistent and transparent reporting to peers and stakeholders.
*Comply with Optimity policies and procedures, recommend any refinement.
*Remain an exemplary ambassador for the business always.
*Good network capabilities
*Virtualisation software and cloud services (VMware, Azure)
*Enterprise server operating OS (Windows Server 2008R2, 2012R2,2016, UNIX)
*Experience using On Premises Exchange / Exchange online
*SAN (NetApps, Dell Compellent) / NAS (QNAP)
*Office 365 migration and Administration experience
*Security and Mail protection products
*Understanding of multiple data & backup methodologies including legacy systems
*Change & interim system control
*Knowledge of Cisco and Juniper
*Strong IT Technical Team Leader/Operations Team Leader experience
As a 3rd Line Engineer at this level, you will be involved in exciting yet intensive project work from day one. It will suit someone who is both ambitious and self-motivated in a very fast paced environment. The successful candidate will take ownership of escalated issues from the support team and work closely alongside the Network Infrastructure team.
You will oversee the implementation of high level IT projects and coach and develop experienced 1st, 2nd and 3rd line support technicians. You will be a troubleshooting expert with the ability to multitask, prioritise, organise and deliver. This is both an internal stakeholder and external client facing responsibility.
