C++ Software Engineer – Central London – Permanent – Up to £60,000 p/a

One of the largest global Investment Management companies is extending the team! The team is open to meet a Junior, Mid-level Developer or someone with a strong background in C++. Someone with experience in working with a different back-end programming language and an interest in learning C++ will be also considered.

Your role:

You will join an international team of approximately 50 developers, learning from highly skilled tech colleagues. You will be involved in both ongoing and greenfield projects having a major impact on the development of key products.

Tech:

·You will write clean code for on-going/greenfield projects.
·You will be involved in all the development process from gathering requirements, specification, design, development to testing and maintenance.
·You will have a great impact on the Real-time data business.
·You will suggest suitable technical solutions and promote the best practices in the industry,

Business:

·You will gather valuable business knowledge and interact with top global players from the Investment Management field.

What you need:

·Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science / Mathematics / Physics or equivalent – excellent academic results
·Previous experience in C/C++ development / other back-end technologies (preferably C#, Java, Python)
·Excellent problem-solving skills
·Strong analytical skills, attention to details
·Self-learner, proactive individual
·Being capable of working both individually and as part of a team
·Very good communication and presentation skills
·An individual with a growth mindset
