Digital Music Support Engineer (1st/2nd Line) – London – Up to £25,000
My client is looking for a Digital Music Support Engineer (1st/2nd Line) who can provide excellent customer service and enjoys working on tricky IT issues in the with their team in Farringdon, London.
You will be working primarily with the following technologies:
*Windows XP / 7 / 8 / 10 / Linux desktop
*PC fault diagnosis and troubleshooting
*Networking and the Internet
*Remote PC repair and troubleshooting
*Windows 8.1 desktop
*Windows 10 desktop
ABOUT THE ROLE
*Answer and respond to telephone, emails and social media requests from clients and provide customer support for any problem they may have with their system.
*Support customers using remote accessing software and troubleshoot solutions to hardware and software problems.
*Diagnose issues over the telephone and provide solutions to accurately and quickly fix the problem.
PC Production and networking
*Assist in the building, maintenance and repair of the company’s digital music systems.
*Keep the General Manager informed of the status of repairs and new builds.
*Keep the General Manager informed of stock levels.
*Install the company’s systems on-site at client locations.
*Train new clients on the use of their systems
*Facilitate basic networking to enable remote management of clients’ hardware.
*To be willing to travel throughout the UK
*To complete any reasonable task as requested by your line manager, Company General Manager or Managing Director.
ABOUT THE COMPANY
My clients’ systems have been providing digital music solutions to the hospitality, retail and leisure sectors since the late nineties.
Based in central London with a staff of 28, they currently have a global install base of 3000 sites ranging from high street pubs and bars; family orientated restaurant chains, aspirational style bars and private member’s clubs to the worldwide hotel and retail groups.
They also provide music profiles, playlists and a jukebox app to the bar, leisure, hospitality and retail sectors.
