Junior Analyst/Developer | FinTech | City of London | £25,000 – £27,000

This is a technical development role within a City Software Consultancy. My client is looking for a Junior Analyst / Developer to fill a position providing great exposure to the development life cycle within the Investment Management industry.

You will be expected to possess the drive and willingness to learn and be able to combine this with their proven problem-solving ability.

The environment is professional with a client list containing major Investment Banks. Delivering solutions/projects is a significant factor when analysing and solving issues.

The Role
There are numerous dimensions to this position, as follows:

Business Analysis – The ability to learn the principles of Investment Management and within a technical environment. Holding an interest in finance is preferable.

Communication – Strong communication internally and externally with clients and internal stakeholders is a necessity.

Problem Solving – Due to the nature of the role, being solution-oriented is a must.

Software Programming – Programming experience is not required; however, having skills matching the businesses tech-stack, having a passion for learning to program and holding excellent problem-solving skills is ideal.

Professional skills – Professionally presentable in order to work with a high-level client list.

Qualifications:
A Graduate of a numerical subject such as Computer Science or STEM.

Knowledge of SOLID development practices
Test/Domain-driven development and AGILE experience beneficial.
