We are searching for a HR and Office Assistant to join our multi award-winning company on the Business Support team. Your role will be to support and contribute to the accomplishment of HR practices and objectives that will provide an employee-oriented, high performance culture that emphasises empowerment, quality, productivity and standards.

We are seeking someone with the passion for their work in administration.
Position Overview

The Business Support team is a critical part of Just IT, and you will be joining us as a HR and Office Assistant. Key duties of the role are to provide basic human resources support, coordinate the office maintenance, supplies and stock, and support the receptionist with daily duties.

The successful candidate will need to be able to work autonomously, think creatively, have a positive attitude and be a natural innovator with a solution-focused approach. This is an office-based role and the successful candidate must be able to commute daily to the Aldgate (City of London) area.

This is a great opportunity for someone with administration experience who has an interest in getting into Human Resources.

Responsibilities

·Maintain our employee tracker and periodically complete audits of the database to ensure accuracy
·Process all change of circumstances to employee’s promotions, probations, salary increments, etc.
·Process all leavers protocols and file all relevant information
·Process employment contracts and offer letters
·Process references for new starters and create a personnel file
·Process new starters’ DBS applications
·Complete all HR admin of new starters and assists with new employee orientation when needed
·Maintain personnel files in compliance with applicable legal requirements
·Maintain the company Intranet
·Monitor all HR enquiries in the group email inbox, seeking support when needed
·Coordinate the facilities management of both company sites
·Prepare and maintain reports that are necessary to carry out the functions of the Human Resources and Support departments
·Assist in creating and implementing policies & procedures
·Participate in planning and implementing various employee relations and employee satisfaction surveys and initiatives
·Assist the business support apprentice when needed
·Provide front desk cover during receptionist’s lunch break and work absences (annual leave)
·Participate in support team meetings and take minutes
·Administrate employee benefits processes
·Assume other duties as assigned by the HR Manager or the CEO

·Excellent computer skills in a Microsoft Office and Windows applications
