Our client is a global leading architectural firm which has offices all over the world. They have been involved in projects across the globe for some of the unique and creative building designs that are now tourist attractions. They have three offices in London where they have architects working hard and working new projects, bringing innovation and creativity to life through their bespoke tools and ever-growing staff.
Now seeking a new member for the team to assist in support in London, Paris and Dubai.
About the Role
This is role is for an IT Administrator to come and join the business at their office which is based near Farringdon in the City of London. As they are an architectural firm, they have beautiful offices that display some of their projects. Please read below some of the responsibilities of the role:
·Provide support to 250+ users which include a desktop/laptop, printers, and mobile devices.
·Duties range from 1st line to 3rd line support, resolving faults and suggesting fixes.
·Switches, routers, firewall, telephony, av – maintenance, administration and support.
·Support virtual server/desktop infrastructure.
·Maintain healthy Server and Storage infrastructure.
·Ensure consistent backup and archive processes are being fulfilled.
·Train/coach IT Staff on use of systems and security.
·Update patches/drivers and software updates.
·Test and deploy new hardware and software.
·Administer the corporate Helpdesk and supervise first level support.
·Track and maintain IT hardware assets.
·Liaise with users, department heads and third-party suppliers.
·Facilitate desk moves, office relocation and project office support.
·Maintain IT-based company documentation and uphold policies.
The ideal candidate for this role would be someone who has been in a similar position for 3-5 years and has the technical ability to hit the ground running. As they have many projects on the go there, they want someone who isn’t going to shy away from responsibility and is keen and eager to develop themselves further. You find yourself with something that needs work on always, being a hard-worker, efficient and a good communicator will fit in well here.
Occasional Travel to do training and support their other locations in the world is a possibility.
