ABOUT THE ROLE
Key duties will be the review of solutions to ensure compliance, and the implementation and support of solutions on the road map of the security infrastructure within IPG, including conducting product evaluations, proofs-of-concept, pilots and deployments while enabling the business to meet the requirements of the information security technology architecture, strategy and baseline.
·Lead the identification of security improvements to IPG’s Active Directory and Office 365 environments. Work with IPG’s Security Architecture function to incorporate these into the security roadmap and assist the Security Engineering function to implement them.
·Lead the identification of security improvements to IPG’s Amazon Web Services and Microsoft Azure environments. Work with IPG’s Security Architecture function to incorporate these into the security roadmap and assist the Security Engineering function to implement them.
·Assist IPG’s Security Architecture function to perform application and data security reviews to confirm that new applications and changes to applications are compliant with IPG’s policies and standards, as well to ensure that the right security controls are applied to applications to keep data secure.
·Assist the IPG Security Architecture and Enterprise Applications functions to apply security controls such as multi-factor authentication, database encryption, database monitoring and web application firewall to applications.
·Assist the IPG Security Architecture and Enterprise Applications to evaluate new solutions, such as key management, database monitoring, Cloud Access Security Brokers and integration with IPG’s security information event management system. Assist with the design of recommended solutions, and work with project managers and architects during implementation.
·Assist with a pilot of Microsoft Rights Management. Lead the implementation of subsequent rollouts.
·Provide technical expertise to the IPG Security Engineering and Security Architecture functions during the full lifecycle of product evaluation, recommendation, testing, installation, rollout and support
·Design, implement and support security solutions in compliance with IPG’s security-related Standards, Policies, Procedures, and Security Architecture standards, guidelines, reference architectures and implementation patterns
·Collaborate with project teams and IPG’s Security Engineering and Architecture functions in research and design phases of solutions to ensure that information security is a fundamental quality
·Assist IPG’s Security Engineering and Security Architecture functions to research new security technologies and their application to the corporate environment.
·Design and document the implementation of a new system or new interfaces between systems
·Follow best practices on Secure SDLC (e.g., threat modeling, integrating security considerations into the testing cycle)
You will need experience in:
·The implementation of multi-factor authentication for applications
·The design and implementation of database security solutions
·Web server and web application security and remediation, and of Web Application Firewalls.
·Implementing security controls in Microsoft Active Directory and Office 365 services.
·Implementing security controls in AWS and Microsoft Azure cloud services
·Implementation and deployment of Privileged Account Management and just-in-time admin rights products.
·The deployment of Microsoft Enterprise Digital Rights Management.
·The deployment of Cloud Access Security Brokers. Experience of Netscope or Skyhigh Networks is preferred.
·Penetration testing methods
·A global organization liaising other teams, such as Corporate Applications, Enterprise Applications, Internal Audit, agency CIOs, agency compliance coordinators, etc.
·Compliance frameworks and security management standards
·Best practices/standards (e.g.PCI DSS, HIPAA, State data breach laws)
·CISSP, CISM, GIAC, CCNA, CCENT, GSEC, or MCSA certification required
