We are looking for a fantastic Infrastructure Support (2nd line) Analyst for an opportunity based in West London. With a diverse range of people and various technologies to work with, this is a role which will never get boring.

Here you will be exposed to Linux, Windows and Mac Systems. You will learn about clustering and High-Performance Computing. You will work within Virtualisation Technologies and advise different research teams on top development applications.

Essential Skills required:
·Previous experience in Desktop/Helpdesk Support.
·Handle all service related calls where every ticket is to be resolved against SLA’s to resolution.
·Microsoft Office 2013/2016
·Windows 7/10
·Virtualisation technology – VMWare
·Strong knowledge of backup methods and technologies
·Participate in application design, planning and implementation with clients and management
·1st-2nd (70%) and some 3rd line (30%) IT support across the entire IT infrastructure.
·The ability to follow policies and procedures for the support desk.
·Strong on Windows and Windows Server 2012/2016
·Basic understanding of Mac OS and Linux Desktop environment.

You will support and work within a small team of IT Support Analysts. Based in West London, you will liaise with other teams and stakeholders in the work that takes place. You will participate in application design and development discussions with clients and management to determine client needs and ensure that product adheres to established specifications and standards. Also, providing training and support to staff in the safe and secure use of applications.

This is an ideal role for someone who wants to get involved in projects and for someone interested to learn and get experienced in Linux, Mac and Windows Systems.
