Java Technical Lead | EdTech | Central London | Up to £90,000 p/a

Our client is a reliable partner for the top universities in the UK, closely collaborating with leading researchers.

Key responsibilities:

·Build consumer-focused applications within an Agile environment
·Deliver an excellent user experience by writing an outstanding code for greenfield projects
·Define the technical specifications, coordinate and mentor team members
·Closely work with the CTO and the Product Managers on making the right technical choices and setting the direction of the projects
·Have a significant impact on team development, suggest product and business improvements

Key requirements:

·Degree in Computer Science or a related field
·Strong experience designing and building solutions in Java 8/Spring Boot
·Solid Core Java, multi-threading
·Experience in designing and building solutions with microservices and event-driven architectures
·Experience designing and building API
·Experience with Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery, Test Automation, TDD
·Experience in developing on cloud technology (AWS / Google Cloud)
·Great attention to detail, focus on quality, ability to work in a fast-paced environment
·Focus on self-development, passion for technology, continuous learner
·Nice to have: experience with serverless architecture on GAE/Google Cloud Functions / AWS Lambda
