1st Line Support – City of London – £120 p/d

3-month temp contract

Main duties will include:
· Coordinating hardware upgrades for PC’s and laptops; installing and configuring computer hardware, software, printers and scanners
· Responding to breakdowns; investigating, diagnosing and solving computer software and hardware faults
· Coordinating iPhone device upgrades, including data transfer
· Configuration of iOS mobile and tablet devices
· Assisting with audio and video conferencing including Skype for Business and Zoom conferencing.
· Providing remote assistance to users over the phone or using remote access too
· Maintaining and implanting Cisco VoIP related requests
· Configuration of laptop and server cloud backups
· Maintaining a clean and accurate audit of all hardware, including PCs, laptops, printers and mobile devices
· Conducting IT inductions for new starters and creating training guides to assist with routine IT tasks and support
· Keeping up to date with current and future technologies
·Repairing equipment and replacing parts as necessary and liaising with hardware vendors
· Assisting with office moves and re-configuration of hardware to ensure all aspects of IT are functional

The ideal candidate must have

· Previous experience within an office-based desktop role
· Knowledge of Windows 7 and 10 and MS office 2016 suite and iOS
·Experience with Office 365, One-drive, One-note, Server 2012 including Active Directory managing user accounts and MAC OS an advantage
· Experience of BitLocker encryption and Asigra backup technologies an advantage
· Strong communication and people skills, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service to our internal clients
· Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
· Excellent IT and presentation skills (Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint) – touch typing skills are critical
· Aptitude to learn and use the internal database as a project management tool and archive system
