Lead Business Analyst (Digital) | Retail | Central London | Up to £65K p.a.

You will be responsible for the above as well as full line & task management of a team of Business Analysts, as well as working on projects/programmes themselves (50% Project / 50% Management).
Working and leading a team of business analysts, full line & task management responsibility responsible for understanding and interpreting business priorities, problems and opportunities into business process & system solutions that may or may not involve change to computer systems or where change is involved interpreting business systems solutions into process design and functional systems design. Support the business for defining and leading user acceptance testing
·Provide advice, guidance, mentoring and coaching to team members and less experienced staff.
·Task manage assigned team members ensuring allocated responsibilities delivered in full, on time and to expected standard.
·Identify and optimise overall workload from the team, engage (in link with business analyst team manager) if needed appropriate resources to manage the delivery
·Define, follow and evaluate their own internal resources performance, objectives and reviews (Objectives, MDR, training plan, etc.)
·Manage their direct reports administration (timesheet approval, sickness, resource allocation etc etc)
·Support the BA & PM Manager with internal improvements and ways of working for the BAs
·Be mentors for agile ways of working for the BA community
·Develop & mentor the employees on the job and help them become successful
·Manage the external contractors/consultants and check point meetings with third-party suppliers and agencies
·Facilitate Change Management within the team and the group
·Reports to appropriate teams (through BAU and project phase)
Business process and Projects
·Co-ordinate business analyst team (task management)
·Ensure alignment, acceptance and approval of all business requirements/user stories with appropriate business stakeholders
·Close to the business team, help to define, agree Functional and Non- Functional Requirements (user stories, acceptance criteria) working closely with dev/test/UX/UI/POs in an agile scrum team
·Ensure that the requirements are complete, accurate and articulated to the satisfaction of all stakeholders to enable the solution to be technically defined and tested
·Ensure Quality Review (quality insurance) regarding business requirements raised and validated by the business and kits teams (functional and non-functional)
·Review and validate with the team the workload attached to the tasks assigned during the project lifecycle
·Effective communication and stakeholder management throughout the project lifecycle
·Develop business best practice as appropriate.
·Understand the range of tools and techniques available in the marketplace to support delivery of our business aspirations both in the short and long term, contributing to developing our systems strategy as appropriate.
·Promote existing solutions within the group
·Support the BA teams & business to define and lead the user acceptance testing (UAT)
·Assist with the selection of external vendors (product and service providers)
·Helpful in the high-level estimation of planning and costs regarding Opcos Demands
Knowledge/Skills/Experience required :
·Strong Team Management Relationship, Team Spirit
·Strong relationship with IT and Business Teams
·Broad understanding of the IT industry, markets, trends, emerging technologies, and their implications for retail organisations.
·Broad practical experience of IT system development and service delivery
·Deep understanding of the business processes, business imperatives and service requirements of retail or similar organisations
·Able to present complex ideas to both business and IT audiences at all levels
·Able to sell the benefits of IT enabled business process simplification
·Comfortable with ambiguity, and demonstrates strong shaping and mobilising skills
·Flexibility to manage changing priorities and demands
·Ability to think strategically as well as tactically
·Languages: English (business fluent in negotiations), French & other languages for useful
·Facilitation skills utilising specified methodologies.
·Knowledge of specified structured & agile analysis techniques.
·Ability to rapidly and thoroughly understand the environment in which they will operate (people, applications, technology, process)
·IT development experience within a professional IT function, including experience of the full development lifecycle, including project inception and post-live support.
·Good liaison / relationship building within both Business and Systems functions and with external Suppliers.
·Ability to challenge stakeholders in a constructive manner and manage conflict resolution to gain consensus on requirements.
·Experience of working in a complex matrix environment with both internal and 3rd party resources
·Knowledge and practical experience of working in a mixed application environment. Experience of retail & agile ways of working would be an advantage.
