The project co-ordinator will play a significant role in organising and scheduling engineering resource to facilitate technical tasks and mini-projects. They will also liaise with various teams internally and will be one of the main points of contact for clients. The role is very customer service focused, and a lot of time will be dedicated to building strong relationships with clients as well as balancing the administration of planning and scheduling.
Location: The role is based in our Wandsworth office, although some client visits may be required.
Responsible for: Liaising between the Salesclient and Technical teams in regards to requests for a technical resource. Communication with clients regarding deadlines and expectations.
Role focus: Communication, quality assurance and resource management.
Communication between the various teams at BTA and the client ensuring jobs are completed on time and within budget and the client is kept informed.
Reporting to: Project Manager / Technical Services Manager
Main Duties & Responsibilities
·Quality check every ticket (opportunity) and understand expectations and deadlines
·Provide updates to the Account Managers and or client of any changes required on each occasion
·Liaise with the Operations team to ensure stock availability and delivery timing
·Liaise with the Project Manager to confirm resource availability
·Communication with the client to ensure they are kept up to date at all times throughout the tasks/projects
·Liaise with engineers daily to ensure tickets/tasks are up to date at all times
·If and when required enter engineers time in tickets
·If and when required liaise with the Operations team and suppliers on stock availability, delivery times and billing queries
