Service Desk Analyst – London – £22,000 – £27,000 P.A
A multinational retailer is currently looking for a Service Desk Analyst to join their growing IT Team based in London. This is an exciting role for a passionate and solutions-oriented individual to join a vibrant and energetic IT Service Desk that provides high-quality incident management and delivery of user issues.
My client’s Head Office, IT Service Desk, provides the national business with technical support and incident management across core infrastructure components, business systems and user equipment, including bespoke applications and systems.
They are the first point of contact for all calls and consistently endeavour to ensure that all are answered and issues are logged, diagnosed, resolved or escalated to the appropriate team, provider or person.
This role sits within a fast-paced environment and will undertake numerous responsibilities including but not limited to:
·Providing onsite and remote desk support
·Receiving, logging and routing calls to appropriate teams on behalf of users
·Providing technical assistance to users
·Managing incidents, requests and problems
·Controlling and monitoring IT Systems
·Installation of software and hardware
·Setting up accounts and completing the administration surrounding this
·Assisting with end-user training
The Ideal Candidate
·Minimum one year of previous IT Support experience
·A problem solving, solutions-oriented work ethic.
·Strong analytical skills, with the ability to work both independently or part of a team
·Windows 8 / Windows 10
·Basic networking knowledge
·Cisco Phone Systems
·Lotus Notes (Desirable)
·£22,000 – £27,000 per anum (dependent on experience)
·An additional 10% of your annual salary as a non-contractual London Weighting benefit
·30 days holiday per anum
