About the Role
This role will be part of a small team responsible for providing quality Desktop Support and basic Windows Server administration for approximately 200 internal users, at offices based in London, Hampshire and Devon. The role is predominantly based in the London office (EC3), but there may be a requirement to travel to the Hampshire and Devon offices as and when required.
The ideal candidate will be someone who has worked in a similar role before and has experience with Windows Server administration.
The network environment consists of Windows 7 based workstations and Microsoft Windows Servers.
·Workstation support either desk-side, via telephone or using remote access tools;
·The set up and support of remote access home workers;
·Hardware support for PCs, laptops and printers;
·Maintenance of internal IT procedures and protocol;
·Basic server housekeeping (new user creation, system monitoring, backups etc.);
·Delivery of Microsoft Office training;
·Assist in the management of the LAN / WAN infrastructure;
·Assist with maintaining telecoms infrastructure;
·Assisting with Facilities management;
·General duties as may be required within the department.
